Wilmington Yoga Center's state-of-the-art infrared hot yoga facility offers their signature hot yoga classes and they also offer Introduction to Yoga programs, Yoga for Seniors and Kids, and a vast array of levels of classes. A unique aspect of the center's philosophy is that they go out of theirr way to escort students down the path of yoga based on their own individual needs: whether it’s weight loss, reducing back pain, decreasing anxiety, or simply being a part of a fun, growing community.
Another aspect of the center that makes it unique lies in the heart of WYC's mission: service-based Kunga Yoga programs. Kunga Yoga approaches yoga as a practice of serving the individual, the community, and the planet. The Kunga Yoga programs raise awareness and 5% of proceeds funds year-round orphanages in developing countries. WYC's Kunga mission drives all aspects of their programs, vision and goals, and they are proud to be a social entrepreneurship small business model with big dreams for educating students about the amazing children they are blessed to work with.
