Since 1972, all of the Outer Banks rope hammocks, porch swings and rockers are completely handmade at OBX Hammocks in Wrightsville Beach. Constructed from the finest ash hardwoods available, they use only the highest quality quarter-inch soft spun polyester rope and are proudly carrying on the dying tradition of hammocks that are still made by hand on the coast of the Carolinas.
