The 6th annual UPTILT Film Fest (Formerly Cinema Sisters International Film Festival) is coming to Jengo's Playhouse on May 20-22, 2022!
We believe women have incredible stories to tell!
We showcase the works of female filmmakers all over the world in an effort to encourage and support our female filmmakers.
We encourage filmmakers who identify as a woman and gender-fluid/non-binary folks who identify with womanhood to submit their films!
We accept narratives, docs, experimental, animation, any genre – we want to see it all! Join us as we celebrate the power of female filmmakers!! This three-day, laid-back festival is all about films made by women (including persons identifying as women).
Films must be complete, no longer than thirty-nine minutes, and must be directed and/or written by women.
Proceeds from our event go to grants for local filmmakers or filmmakers shooting their films in North Carolina.
