This is where your health journey begins! During your initial session, I will take time learning about you as a person and about your health/nutrition goals and expectations. We will explore your overall medical history (e.g., mental and physical health), favorite foods, typical meals and snacks, cooking abilities, grocery shopping, exercise habits, and your thoughts and feelings about your current nutrition and lifestyle habits. You will receive counseling and tools for new ways of thinking about food and changing behaviors in areas that are important to you. We may discuss your experience with dieting, body image, "good vs bad" foods, weight concerns, and health expectations in today’s world.
