The beer mile will be ran in two heats. The race will be 400m laps accompanied by a beer each lap that must be drank in the exchange zone before each lap.

The first heat will be Clydesdale men (men over 200lbs) and Athena women (women over 165lbs) Top 3 men and women will receive machetes'

Following the Clydesdales and Athena's will be the competitive men and women who want to be the Copperhead Beer Mile Champion. Top 3 will be awarded.
